Man oh man! I miss my wife.

She flew out of OHare airport on Friday, November 30 to pick up our daughter in the Philippines and dammit, I miss her. At first I thought, "Well, I can sit around in my underwear, drink beer and fart all the time." But it ain't that simple. She has (sort of) broken me of stuff like that. Oh don't get me wrong, I'm still going out to watch the Packer game with a couple of my buddies, but I may feel a bit guilty about it. And truth be told, I'm going out after she returns too.
But it just isn't the same. She's a wonderful trusting lady with a heart of gold and I know that I am lucky to be married to her. So maybe I'll not eat unhealthy stuff (ok, one small pizza. This place has GREAT pizza), not get plastered at the football game, keep the house immaculately clean, and so on while she's gone. And then on Thursday, I wil go to the airport to pick her up and she will have a young girl in her arms. Two people who I may may not be worthy of, which means I'll just have to work that much harder to be worthy. Ok ok. Enough mindless babbling. I have to clean the bathtub.

A new daughter? Your life is about to take a drastic turn, for the better. If you use car wax, only on the sides, after you scrub the tub, it will stay clean longer.

Hmmm, maybe I need to take a little trip by myself, so Mr. gut has a chance to appreciate me.
