anyone with cruise line experience?

is it possible for the mrs. and i to bring a bottle of our own liquor aboard.

i'm not trying to sound like a cheap ass, i can assure you that copious amounts of alcohol will be consumed topside; however the wife and i would simply like to have a few drinks at our whim in our room on the balcony...

will they screen/xray our checked baggage and cause a stir?

I suggest you check online with the cruise line you will be using.

Have a fun trip. Take lots of pictures.
