that you remember receiving or that was given to a man in your life.
my husband is an everything man. he is the macho man with hunting/fishing, the metro man with cooking and bubble baths, my blues man, my computer geek man gaming and eco man with gardening. he likes his rugged and tricked out jeep. and planting his spring flowers.
one year, i bought him high quality oils and bath salts for christmas for his large jacuzzi tub. it was so much fun because it was so unexpected, but he had a blast with them, and loved the idea of getting something so... whatever, for christmas. that would probably be the present that he says he remembers the most.
does anyone have a fun gift like that. not having to be a big deal, but just fun to receive.

(29,098 posts)I have a husband who is extremely choosy and pretty much scoffs at everything..... He likes one style of clothing only and will not deviate or even consider options. His robe is ratty and worn but the last two years saw robes being sent back for not being "as good" as his old one. I secretly bought him an extra pair of jeans that I knew he would wear just to relieve my own anxiety in the event something happened to the "beloved" pair.

(29,098 posts)My husband gave me second row tickets to Leonard Cohen concert my last birthday....It was the best present ever. Does he like sports or theater? Our local zoo sometimes does dinner events that are a blast....Has he ever had dinner with the monkeys? These kind of charity events help a great cause and are lots of fun.
One of the other neat things to do is to do a stay at a B & B and do some wine tastings. Wineries are popping up everywhere now. We also have a local art studio nearby that hosts a beginning painting class with wine for couples
Also what about a class? Massage for couples is a great one that I have seen floating around on Groupon lately. You can have an evening out and have life time benefits.

(110,159 posts)you have me thinking what i want to do in a month or so. he loves the quiet of fishing, though throws the fish back. i need to find a good place and rent a cabin/unit/BB for a weekend, just he and i. we always have the kids, and not having them (though we love them dearly) would be a treat for him. a weekend that is ALL his/about him. thanks.

(17,048 posts)what about some skin care for men?
Clinique has a great set for men, moisturizer, soap and toner. UV protection!! Men need skin care too ya know!
If that is too expensive I think the drug store has some men's sets as well.
