The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI heard that you can buy an indoor antenna to improve radio reception. Anyone know about
that? If so, where could I get one?
(This sounds retro, I know.)

(3,428 posts)many moons ago and it looks very retro. The one I got is for am reception and it does work fairly well.
They probably have something for fm reception, but I don't have have experience with theirs. I use the old-fashioned "T" antenna for better fm reception indoors.

(32,084 posts)I have had very good luck with the cheap dipole antenna:

My receiver is old and has the screw terminals. I used to live out in the middle of nowhere, where FM reception sucked. I was able to get all of the available stations with the dipole antenna. They are kind of ugly, however, so it's nice if you have a bookcase behind which you can easily hide it. I'm betting you can also find this or other radio antennas at Home Depot or Lowes.
