Bristol came in as a stray and yes, as you can see someone did this to her. She is not hurt and is a healthy 2 year old cat.

(112,249 posts)I wish I could take her in, but I already got two of my own. I hope that Bristol finds a happy household.

(32,086 posts)Anyone who dyes an animal deserves to be stained bright pink, themselves. And, with permanent dye.
Wish I could take that kitty.

(13,661 posts)I loved her very much. I just thought it was cute...
But I would never, ever, EVER use paint or anything toxic. Ever. Just a squirt of red food dye.

(32,086 posts)God only knows what that shit was. A little squirt of food coloring, I can live with that. But, at least you didn't dye your whole cat. I can't see how large amounts of food dye can be good for anyone, even kitties. Especially given that they bathe themselves by licking.
I couldn't dye my cat if I wanted to. Except for a couple of tiny white spots, she's as black as coal.

(9,527 posts)The cat doesn't object to that (well any more than she objects to any sort of contact). And while the cat is cranky, I'm pretty sure it's unrelated to the toe painting.

Pretty cat. If I did not already have 3 I would love a pretty kitty like this one.
