Ah, Christmas, and the family's weird. Anyone else think you could be a sitcom?

LORD people can be strange sometimes. Doesn't help that half my side of the family are Mississippi law enforcement. Sweet Jesus...no, I shouldn't say that because damn near ALL of them are praying for my heathen soul and I don't want to give them any encouragement.

Then there's HIS side. WAY too many doctors and lots of actually tragic old age health issues, and it's a tough combo. Doctors make sucky patients.

And I love these people. I do. But damn.

My family's pretty normal, LOL...

Some more distant relatives could easily be part of a sitcom, though........

And I can tell you from direct experience from my days as a nurse: doctors definitely make the worst patients. They want to be in charge damn it, and when they're in the hospital, they're just not.

They are smart people but they are OLD. They need home health care because her COPD has her in hospital after she nearly died from the flu, And where was he? Taking care of her, of course. Not taking her to the hospital soon enough. Don't get me wrong they ROCK for being that age, but they're OLD. Someone needs to show up once a day to check the breathing and hydration and nutrition iykwim.

Don't GET me started...LOL!
