3. One thing I really didn't like about China, the pervasive passive aggression

I believed it was due to the oppressive government and lack of coping skills/education. Basically, country people were flooding the cities without the underlying knowledge to deal with city life.

Of course it wasn't everyone, but as a tourist, somewhat dependent upon locals to provide basic needs/information, I was quite aware of it when it did occur.

That said it is also a destructive manipulation tactic often seen in middle management everywhere.

I tried to do a search on it when I came back to the states, I really didn't find much, so I am sharing personal experience with you here.
