I may have two dinners for real. After serving Christmas dinner at our local food bank, I can have dinner there if there's enough food left. And at night, I'll probably make a rib roast and Yorkshire pudding with mashed potatoes and gravy and, per the Lounge, Brussels sprouts for the vegetable.

(46,179 posts)Tacos at my son's. He apologized for not serving something more traditional. I said, "I love tacos."
Most of my very small family will be there; 6 out of 8. It's relaxed, casual, with no pressure of any kind whatsoever.
That's the way we like it. The only thing missing will be the other 2, who are 1200 miles away, but they'll be here next month for a visit.

All from scratch. My parents are making a dinner and their house and them coming to participate in ours. We usually do both, but this years been hectic.

The last two are out of town, Christmas on New Years.
Lots of great food.
