instead of saying Buy one and then take a second free if you want they should say Take one free and then buy a second if you want

They'd get more people to come to the store then imo

I was buying probiotics at walgreens ($10, but you get a $10 store coupon when you buy it so it was sort of free). Already exciting, right?

When I got to the register, the cashier was talking to the customer ahead of me for a while before ringing me up, even though the previous person's transaction was done. She was talking about some raft thing she'd seen in the news, made of of recycled 2 liter pop bottles, and I think she said people had rowed it from mainland US to ... I forget to where.

When I finally got rung up, I was so focused on the raft story I forgot to say I didn't need a bag, but she asked me if I wanted one - cashiers NEVER ask me that, I said no and thanked her for asking, and she went off on a talk about avoiding wasting plastic bags. She was just awesome.

Local news reported a woman was found in Kroger wearing only reusable shopping bags and a loyal shopper card. When the manager approached her and asked her to leave, the woman refused stating, "I can't help it. I'm just so HOT!"

Police arrested the woman for causing "emotional distress" to other customers.

She was later released by Atlanta authorities after she claimed she was only acting on her religious beliefs.

You didn't mention if she was ACTUALLY hot or not. Plastic can make you warm.
