Whoops...ever had this happen to you?

Picture/story shared from 'Church Funnies', because it made me laugh and because it's true in so many ways. -Debra

An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger-printed, and photographed, and then placed in a holding cell.

Seems like a ticket would have done it but I guess that's what she gets for honking at "an honest man."

She was exhibiting irrational behavior and driving a car -- a dangerous combination as far as I can see.

After a lot of experiences with jerks on the road (and I've been one at times, too).

Many years ago, while driving late at night from L.A. to San Francisco, some jerk went speeding by me. He must've stopped a couple times, because he passed me three times.

When I later saw him pulled over by a California Highway Patrol cruiser with red and blue lights flashing, I honked and waved and smiled. I hope he appreciated it.
