But seriously - these Tulikivi ovens/fireplaces are supposed to be incredible for warmth ... which I suppose makes sense, since they're from Finland.

when we built our house. I can't even go look at the site. I am spoiled but not that spoiled. Wouldn't it be wonderful? I have a small woodstove that has soapstone on the top and sides. Not nearly as good but OK.

Be certain you do not put one in your house unless you have an engineer check the weight limits of your floor!

Ceramic and they hold the heat for a long time, so using them is economical--over time. A looong time .
