There seems to be a bit of a cult following for refurbished 8-track players. Remember having to put a matchbook in the thing to keep from hearing track overlap?

has a factory stock AM/8 track that actually still works and I have a collection of 8 tracks for it.

I am considering looking for a "Lear Jet" 8-track. (the 8-track was actually invented by Bill Lear, designer of the Lear Jet. He was a high school dropout... )
