and haven't seen the entire series in the proper sequence, so I don't know what the body count is. But I've read all of the Dexter books and am re-reading them again right now. Currently on #3, Dexter in the Dark.

Question for you, or anyone else who watches the show: Why is the character Dexter so lacking in humor on the show? In the books, he is hilarious!

I've watched from the beginning but lately he gets on my last nerve. Plus, I was so shocked by Debs therapist telling her it was okay for them to sleep together since they weren't biological sibs I almost quit. But John Lithgow's brilliance still stays with me!
