In_The_Wind
(72,300 posts)really. I've kept many different types of lizards including that gecko.
imo: sleeping with crickets chirping all night long is the best. ever.
BlancheSplanchnik
(20,219 posts)She's absolutely adorable. And SILLY.
I had a male amd female pair of Jackson's chameleons a zillion years ago. Unfortunately I had to go in the hospital for a few months so I had to return them to the shop. So long ago I don't remember specifics of working that out, but I only had them a month or so.
They were so cute...AND silly!
Looove chameleons.

(72,300 posts)do you like birds?
I have a very sweet pic I'd love to share with you.
not everyone loves the featherheads like I do.
just wanted to ask before springing one on you.

(20,219 posts)Except spiders... EEEEEK
And chimps...they gross me out--even before chimpy mcCokespoon.
I had two very special toads they went to the rainbow lilypad about 10 years ago but they were my little buddies for seven years. Toadsies, especially had MAJOR personality! And yeah, I enjoyed the crickets, too.
I'd love to have some birds, but I think the cleaning work would be too much for me. Sure wish I could have a pair of pygmy burrowing owls!

Currently my flock has one blue and gold macaw, one lesser sulfur crested cockatoo, two nesting diamond doves with (in a separate cage) twelve offspring. cooing all night.
They keep me smiling, but very busy.
I've kept so many reptiles, some I could hold, some I could not.
Bumped into Jackie O coming out of the reptile house early one Sunday morning many years ago at the Bronx Zoo.
You must share some toadsies stories. plz.
*note to self* never never reply to BlancheSplanchnik with a chimp or spider!
