1. 'Helen Hunt surprises with H&M.

Alright, now this is big fashion news. Helen Hunt has just announced she is wearing a navy column by H&M. You could hear the jaws dropping all the way over here on the East Coast. No actress has gone this mass since Sharon Stone turned up 15 years ago in a Gap T-shirt, which at least she bothered to pair with a skirt from Vera Wang.

It’s not like you can just walk into any H&M, the Swedish fast-fashion retailer, and pick up an Oscar-worthy gown, but this one looked pretty great. Just a hunch, but this smacks of a publicity ploy, and it wouldn’t be surprising since H&M is planning a big runway show during Paris Fashion Week in a few days. Now we have a clue as to what they might show.'
