and please make it in layman's terms.
My computer keeps going wacky at this site. Things are fine, then every once in awhile when I read a post some overlay the one above. It will clear when I refresh. However it keeps happening. Also, when it is whacked out the type on the"post a new discussion thread" is so small I can hardly see it! Oh and my smilies become smaller and out of line. Going blind here. This does not happen all the time.
I have a Toshiba lap top and running windows 7....any clues how I can fix this. I have no problems elsewhere! This is making me crazy!
Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me.

(81,861 posts)Maybe try updating software?
Also, what version of DU are you using? I used to have problems with certain versions on certain devices. Haven't had that issue in a while. I use "Classic" mode on my computer and :standard" on the phone.

I have no idea what version of DU I am using....how can I find out!
Thanks, Renew Deal.

I don't have the "new discussion thread" problem nor the out-of-line smilies.

(83,791 posts)for weeks it will be fine, then it zaps into bizzaroooo mode. The worst is the small print when I type a response...When I preview it is normal.
Thanks, MFM.
