I'm diggin the Adele song

I liked it already and thought it was a great Bond song. She's got a great voice and is beautiful and damn her dress is sparkly!

1. I didn't like the song.

I thought it too low for her, rather morose and undistinguished. It didn't test her great voice.

Shirley Bassey was much better, but she had a better song, too.

3. I love the song and I love her studio version...

I agree it seemed very subdued for her. It almost sounded like the balance between her mike and the others was off...

But I really like her and also love Shirley Bassey...

7. I think Norah Jones is having the same trouble

they need to up the level in her mic...

8. I agree, the level in the mics are too low for several artists.

The vocal is buried in the orchestration and difficult to hear.

I freely admit to being a total James Bond geek and may have enjoyed it more than I would have had it not been a Bond song.


I have no doubt Mrs. Bassey kicked some behind. She's got some experience on Adele so maybe Adele can take some lessons. Which song did she sing? I love her Bond songs too - heheh, even Moonraker. That ought to indicate how loopy I am for 007 stuff.

and really like Adele...she is simply who she is, no apparent pretentiousness... just pure talent. I also think she is lovely.

Shockingly bad sound levels. But Adele always sounds great.
