My shocking proposal for improving the Oscars:

Eliminate the host and pre-written banter between presenters. Keep the production numbers (except for anything written by Seth Mcarlen!)

2. How 'bout not spending 8 hours covering the pre-pre-Red Carpet, the pre-Red Carpet ...

... and then the Red Carpet?

I'd seen Jennifer Lawrence and Ann Hathaway 10 times last night before the damn Oscars even started!!

3. To be fair, a lot of us like to see all the dresses.

I think the night should be about the movies, which is why I like the Les Mis production number.

4. I agree, I do too, but ... not the same 5 dresses on a loop for 8 hours.

It always amazes me that of the hundreds of ladies there, E! and others focus on the same 5 or 6 starlets over and over and over ...

Just hand out the awards one after another.
