When I was almost 3, we lived near the Jersey shore. My parents, uncle and aunt brought home a bushel of live crabs. They put the basket on the kitchen floor, letting crabs crawl out all over the place, and laughed themselves sick while I screamed and tried to climb up on the table, the chairs, anything to get away from the monsters. I had nightmares for weeks.
