I fell asleep on the couch while studying for a history exam; and when I woke up, this was on. I'd never even heard of it before. Somebody please tell me this is staged!

5. There is something creepily watchable

about that show. I know it's massively staged but the interaction between Ron, Bobby and Amy is kind of fun sometimes.

and may Sweet Black Baby Jesus have mercy on my soul, I have kind of fallen in love with Duck Dynasty. Si kills me. I'd love to hang out at their shop for a day.

I didn't wanna like it but they are such sweet people I can't figure out how to not love them.

8. I left home at 17

and have only seen my brothers sporadically in the 32 years since. On the few occasions we get together we goof off just like those Duck Dynasty boys do and I think I have to believe that had we all stayed in the same area we would have had years of clowning around buffoonery and fun.

So I like watching the DD boys and it reminds me to write note to my brothers to say howdy.

11. The repo service is real, but I think the footage is all staged

What you see on TV might be based on actual events, but the footage you're watching is not the real thing.

TruTV has a lot of shows that do the same thing, and only Operation Repo is up front about the footage being reenactments.

That said, I like ol' Ronnie and his "nuttier than a port-a-potty at a peanut festival" way of describing folks.

If they ever made it to New Orleans? In the last episode they showed today, some guy offered them a job picking up four cars in NOLA for $20,000. The wife was very skeptical.
