I think I would have just shut down and moved on if you hadn't said it was meant to be read.

So I did. No problem!! Cool!

Because of all the variances in handwriting, we have to be able to decipher various forms and styles.

So I wonder if the kids today who are not learning cursive will be less able to read such glyphs?

I've seen something similar to this with the letters scrambled inside the words, but I hadn't seen this before.

But I think it was the whole year, not just the beginning. And, yes, I'm reading "17" but I really am thinking about it, too. It was my senior year. Lots of decisions that year and, yes, it did prove minds can do amazing things. Very provocative post. It brought me back.

Our brains want to make sense of things and will relate something that doesn't make sense to the closest thing that makes sense. There are actually things that happen around us that are random and have no meaning, but our minds will always squeeze it into a pattern and derive meaning from it.

How many things around you do you think mean something that really don't?
