I have a job. Sorta. It provides me with 1/10th of full time. First time in my adult life Ive had no job and no real long term plan. That's what comes of tacking ones future plans to working for an unstable personality, I suppose. It was a productive 10 years I spent there, but I gotta figure out whats next

After I lost my last job, one of my old clients contacted my former boss, read him the riot act, and hired me direct. But its only a few hours a week.

Its not enough to pay the bills in the long term. But it's better than nothing. And, between that, and renting out our extra bedrooms, its enough to keep going for a while while I look for work, even after unemployment runs out.

with a work injury. Had multiple surgeries to correct what the lst surgeon had done incorrectly. So I have had income. I know that I'm not going back to my old job and I've been looking. I've had several interviews in the past year, but no takers. I often wonder if it's my age (55) and education level (Masters Degree).
