What two foods absolutely do not compliment each other? In other words, the flavor of one will clash with the other ruining the whole experience.

(12,022 posts)I think that mingling Mediterranean with Asian condiments often ends up weird. Oregano plus soy sauce, for instance. Or thyme with cilantro.
Fusion is a tricky business, and can sometimes end in disaster.

(32,086 posts)Both of them compliment probably the widest ranges of other foods than anything else, but they don't compliment each other--except for the "dessert" cheeses, like cream cheese and marscapone. But, chocolate and cheddar, Havarti, Peccorino Romano, blue cheese.... Eeeeewww.
