Tough situation. The dogs were shaking in fear in the kennel and it looks like they will get a second chance, after killing a cat. It was determined the dogs were on their own and had survived by killing cats and ducks. You would think this was an easy call, but looking at the dogs one of them was scared to death.
I don't know, what does everyone think? Good call? Or will they kill again?

Deland, Florida, it appears.
Ravina and Rusty, probably worked as a team. Well, with good owners they ought not to have any opportunities to kill anything that isn't coming onto their property.
I say they look remorseful.

Hopefully, they will be taken in by a rescue group.

(7,515 posts)I don't know if it's true. I would be inclined to say keep them alive, they were only tying to survive. But, make sure they go to homes with no other small pets and people are aware of their previous need to kill in order to survive.
What I'd really like to say is where is the POS human who abandoned them to their own devices?
