25. Kitties would be independent

Cats have such a mind of their own that not even a political party like the Democrats could corral them in one big tent.

For instance, a cat could be conservative on some issues, such as mandatory naps during midafternoon and requiring all humans to be awake at 5AM to feed them; and liberal on other issues, e.g., drug legalization (catnip, anyone?) or a general anti-authoritarian sentiment.
