would you know what it refers to?
Hint: nah, you can figure it out without a hint.

(81,879 posts)unless it's a religious reference. It's not 100% clear. Maybe 98%.

(12,132 posts)But then I remember your post from a little while back where you called them the Halos.
As a Texas Rangers fan I keep all my Rangers stickers in my drawer at home...May have to do that with my Cowboys stickers too - at least until that nimrod sells the team to someone who knows what he or she is doing.

(21,484 posts). . . what is the nimrod doing wrong?

(12,132 posts)Jerry Jones - he keeps screwing with my team. The Rangers problem is having been a fan since the early 70s - I know we've had some good seasons lately but after having horrible seasons for so many years in a row, an actual championship is the only thing that will cure my ills. lol
I'm itching to get back to Texas and see a game in the new stadium - I hear it's pretty nice. The old one was fun - warm beer and lousy food and living it up out in the 4 dollar bleacher seats.
They are coming to Tampa later this year and I am gonna try hard to get down there for that but I;ll have to take off work to do it - it's only a 3 game stand and none are on the weekend...
But while we are here, I heard that there is some bone of contention in the Rangers front office with Nolan Ryan. I hope he's not being an ass - I've been a Ryan fan since even before he was a Ranger...but I haven't looked at the whole story so I shouldn't judge anything until I do.

(21,484 posts)That is definitely my preferred name for my team, with "Anaheim" a close second. Stupid Moreno and his stupid name. Pfft.

(21,484 posts)We bought a package of six games, and we bought access to the Legends Club, a big, well, clubhouse, with a bar, tables and chairs, and premium seating outside. Kinda like a really big suite. (Food and drink aren't free, though.
We're going to the game this Wednesday. Then July 4 and 5 games. And our package includes the All Star Game, held at the Blue Crabs' stadium for the first time.
Forgive me for not knowing this: are you a baseball fan?

(43,208 posts)I'm one hell of a baseball fan.
First and foremost, it's for the team probably 60 miles to the north of you, the Baltimore Orioles. Feel free to adopt them as your local MLB team to root for when they aren't playing the Angels!
I also follow my adopted home team, the Marlins. But they're two shades worse than horrible this year (although they did manage to sweep the Mets).
Wish the Blue Crabs had been around when I lived in Southern Maryland. I would have loved to go to some games.
