I just got in a Twitter fight with a person

who said I was "insane" because I'm not grateful for all the jobs that Wal-Mart "provides" and I'm not grateful to corporations that "provide" "cars, buses, and planes." The initial issue was that I had tweeted, in response to the meme, "ITrustTheGovtLike", that I trust the government a lot more than corporations and the 1%.

Corporations are not charitable organizations. They do not "provide" anything. They are in business to make a profit. And the only reason they do not commit fraud and abuse more often is that there are laws and regulations to deter it. The Jungle by Upton Sinclair says it all. I had to stop when her Ad Hominem started.

OK, that is all. I'm still kind of mad that people can be that stupid though.

I went back today and deleted about half the Twitter fight so that I would not have the bad karma of an argument on my page.

the average employee qualifies for the full spread of public assistance from rental assistance to food stamps to SCHIP for their kids.

What would cost customers for Walmart to be able to maintain its current profit margin while providing benefits to FT workers and $10/hr pay? An additional $0.10/customer per year.

Thinking that Americans should be grateful for those jobs is like the orphanage scene in Oliver Twist.

Please sir, may I have more?

Hash tag subjects lately, that seem like something a Republican or Tea Bagger would post. Most of them are on Facebook, because with Twitter it takes a bit of thinking to say what you want to say, within the restrictions of the limited amount of words you get to use. That would normally..or probably be frustrating to most of them, because it requires them to solve a puzzle of sorts. They hate having to think for themselves..

But lately...I have seen a lot more right wing slanted subjects. For example: #IDidntTextYouBackBecauseOBAMAwaslistening

meh... I used to love twitter, but with all this crap coming from right wingers, it makes me gag.
