Hollywood comes to you with a casting emergency: Who should play Wonder Woman?

Hollywood comes to you, Lounge member, and asks you to solve a huge casting problem: who should play Wonder Woman

Rules:

1) The person you select has to be roughly the right age now - you can't go back in time or give Lynda Carter a lot of Botox.
2) Keep in mind that looking reasonably good in a bustier is a plus.
3) Keep in mind that ScarJo is already playing Black Widow in the Avengers and Amy Adams is already playing Lois Lane.

That's it.

Who would you cast as Wonder Woman?

She looks the part (i.e. she looks like the way WW is drawn in the comics). In old Hollywood, they'd have cast her and taught her acting on the fly.

From "That '70s Show".

Tall, athletic, looks good in a bustier (or so I imagine).

She's need a dye job though.

She's got the build for it. And she's a brunette. Of course she's a Brit. But if a Brit can play Superman, then one can play Wonder Woman.

I really liked in her in Captain America.

One TV series yes, but no movie.

So they can hardly be accused of "making and remaking the same superhero movies over and over again."

Probably, but any woman who can scare Jayne Cobb and earn the admiration of Mal Reynolds deserves to be called Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) eyes and I am a brunette. But alas that was about 30 years ago.

I also had a pretty good figure back then so the bustier thing would have worked also!

Hotter than Madonna, funnier than Roseanne Barr (who I swear stole big parts of her act)...

Wonder woman has to be more than sexy she has to look physically strong and project a strong female presence. She ain't no pushover. I think Beyonce would be great for that. Question is, can she act?

1 - Rhona Mitra - British accent but getting a bit older. Still might be ok though.

Since studios tend to not pick people who used to be attached to a previous iteration of their work. I doubt she would fly.

2 - Alana de la Garza - She played Aethyr in Smallville.

Otherwise, I'd look for a European Actress...Maybe Silvia Colloca?

Then gave three other options...

Though yeah, she is just athletic, hot and has the moves to prove it.
