flew around South Grove every day, and we always assumed they went back to Parrot Jungle at the end of the day.

But as pointed out, they have no compelling reason. Guaranteed food supply, excellent environment, no predators, can raise a brood in peace. Plus, parrots aren't migratory birds.

Except for the hours, I think their meals and medical care packages are better than most U.S. employers offer their human employees.
