Works for me on Ubuntu. Install the linux version of silverlight called "moonlight". Spitfire of ATJ Jun 2013 #4

I've never had to install anything before to view NASA web pages. Upon Googling it, it's a Microsoft program. Why is it needed when using Linux?

SilverLight is sort of Microsoft's answer to Flash and mobile app development. You know MS everything has to be propitiatory That sucks that NASA is using it as there is no reason this couldn't be done in Flash or HTML 5. I simply have it cause I have Windows and I've downloaded it in the past for some other site.
