(5,170 posts)I'm so grateful she is here with me this Sunday to see it. She was diagnosed with cancer last week and, given that she hadn't eaten in 2.5 weeks, I was afraid this was the end. But we have her on a steroid regimen and she is back to her old self: too skinny, but spirited!
Some of my faves:
I'm holdin' it back!
Yoga dog
Dewd, spot me!

Kitty v. Eagle

(35,712 posts)Those two unrolling the toilet paper look just like my two stealth artists.
And the raccoon who broke in and mustered up a "meow" reminds me of how we used to have a regular break-in by a raccoon who came in the kitty window at night and ate all the cat food. This is in the bedroom, too, while we were both sleeping! And also, the cat window was not to the great outdoors, it was only to a cage designed for my kitties to be able to sit outside.
So the raccoon figured out how to get through the cage, into the house, and help himself to the food. All the while my 3 cats just sat there perched on the bed, watching him chow down and then make his exit.
After awhile he took to washing himself up before he left, making a horrendous mess of the water in the bowl.
Finally, one night my husband stayed awake until he came in and grabbed him by his back leg as he was escaping!
He never came back after that, but we did put up chicken wire to prevent him from getting into the cage again.
Anyway, great collection, SCE.

(9,298 posts)It's nearly Monday on the left coast, and I just now got to the LOL Dial Ups and saw these fantastico photos. Salmon, you always find material that we dog/cat/bird/reptile owners can relate to and laugh at. This week is no exception. Always appreciate the extra consideration shown for Chihuahuas. My Chiquita (aka Pookie) would run away from home if I tried that netting on her. And make no mistake, she has it GOOD here.
Is the plural of "moose" "meese?" Whatever...those babies in the wading pool are gorgeous and certainly have the right idea.
Many thanks to you and all your contributors for yet another wondrous selection. And enjoy this last week of June to the hilt!
