Just got my new glasses, and I think the prescription is off a tad in the left corner.....

d*mn. You know how you can move your head from side to side while keeping your eyes straight and you can still read out of the side of your glasses?? Well, I can't see out of the lower left side of my glasses, it's blurry. The right side is fine, it's the left side. Will have to go back and have them adjusted.......dang it. In all the years I've been wearing bifocals, about 20 or so, this is the first time this has happened, and it's bugging me.

It forced my parents to get me those original hard contact lenses--waaaay before they were common place and well before my parents would have been comfortable doing so.

Now, I have monovision via LASIK to ensure distance in one eye and preserve some close vision in the other... But, eventually I will have to do something else as time will undoubtedly result in more loss of close vision.

If I couldn't adjust to plain old glasses in the past--how on earth would I ever adjust to bifocals? Uggh.
