Yeah i watched that, He did not make it through The Voice UK Auditions Though, they said he was a good singer, but, needed more time, so maybe he should try back again for the bbc voice uk open auditions 2016 which are starting again soon.
before he went on the voice, he was offered a place on britain's got talent that year, "But the Wheaton Aston schoolboy turned them down, fearing the contract he was being asked to sign was too restrictive".
so he went to the voice uk, and probably will not have had to do the early auditions rounds like the open (cattle call) auditions, and might of made it through to the live auditions rounds, in front of then the voice uk judges line up Jessie J, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue, but with his being young that was the excuse they needed if they did not want to let him through, sometimes it seems they need excuses lined up on 'why' they dod not want to let some one through one of the rounds.
so if you are in the uk you can apply now for the voice uk auditions, and if in the usa they should be starting there audition rounds up again soon as well, but so far nothing on there website, check out this website for update information on what is happening about the voice singing competition audition rounds.
