All of my kitties both past and present seem to have slight weight problems.

4. are they indoor kitties? I think it is especially hard to keep indoor kitties in shape.

Mine go outside and are very muscular.

5. Yes, they are indoor only kitties

and I've mostly had female cats that have been spayed so their bellies tend to be a little poochey. I have two now, one is a little over 2 years old and a little chubby and the other is about a year old and still pretty sleek.

I think the 2-year-old (Symone) got in the habit of over eating because I had a male ragdoll when she came to live with us and it seemed like a constant competition between them when it came to the food dish. Raven is still young and crazy so she's still active enough to stay thin.

6. oh yes, I remember Raven and Symone. Raven looks a lot like my Gidget - otherwise known as

my Pretty Girl.

I don't remember them being really fat from the pictures.
