I never thought about that. I've worn mine (left ear only) on coasters - no tragedies yet.

with studs in. I probably wouldn't wear a dangly thing on a roller coaster. In my youth I had a beaded feathery earring that also doubled as a roach clip. It was mostly hidden by my long hair. Cops would make fun of me for being a long-haired guy wearing an earring but the mopes never thought to look closely at it and see the residue...I just smiled and nodded...and laughed all the way home. (This was early 80s Texas)
