I find it harder to watch movies, in general, in the summer. Something about about being warm and comfortable inside, while the outside world is a frozen, baron wasteland, personally is more conducive to movie-watching for me. IMO, best of all, are movies that are set in the winter. A few of my favorites are: the Fearless vampire killers, Enemy at the gates, Death hunt, the Thing, Her majesty's secret service, and my ultimate favorite winter viewing movie... Where eagles dare! What are yours?

(5,604 posts)looks good though. just read IMDB on it, kind of sounds a bit like Grizzly Adams (Loved Grizzly Adams when I was a Kid, and just downloaded it about a year ago to bring back some memories). I remember seeing Storm Over Tibet, when I was a kid too.

(5,604 posts)back when I was married, and before I was in the snow plowing business, my ex and I used toss all of the blankets and pillows from the bed, onto the living room rug, in front of a roaring fire place, and stay up all night watching B movies. Naturally our 3 big dogs and 4 cats had to pile on too. We're both certain that on new years eve 2001 our daughter was conceived that way!

(18,219 posts)And the twisted humor makes it so entertaining.
But I shiver just thinking about it, and I am always cold watching it.

(5,604 posts)where it was filmed, and would visit that Gazebo on occasion. I think the town is going to tear it down and rebuild it though, because it's getting rickety, but the new one will look the same.
