I was just listening to this on the way home from the gym:

We hit a bump in editing. A family member of mine died a couple of weeks ago, so we lost about a week and half of editing between the wake, funeral, and family visits. We still on are track to have a fine cut to submit to Sundance by the end of July though. 
But then that happened with my family which took priority since it was a big heartbreak for us. We're back on track now though and will be posting some new stills later in the week.

Are you an Abbey Lincoln fan by chance? I'm a big fan of her's and was just listening to some earlier. Your's reminded me of her
...Abby was a great singer, and especially in person. Records just don't reflect what she could do. When you heard her live, you felt she was singing to you, personally, no matter how big or small the audience. She was also the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, bar none.
