Gained it back because I went back on as a stress relief.

Takes about 2 weeks to make it past the crazed looks and thoughts. I also cut all sweets, even artificial ones in diet poo I coped with having lots of raw almonds around to munch on.

Best of luck!!!

No bitter aftertaste, and it's sweeter, I think, than stevia. http://www.xylitolcanada.com/faqs/

Xyla brand is better, as some of the other xylitol brands are made from corn.

It was started by Citizen Radio when Jamie was getting back into training and needed to kick the sugar. It's turned into a real support network at this point. Lots of good advice and sugar-free recipes to try out. Never try to go these things alone.

because they make you crave sweets and gain weight. I don't know if they tested Stevia, but they did test diet sodas.

for over 30 yrs, can't do it completely. I'm allowing myself chocolate and now since it's summer, cocoanut milk "ice cream." Not eating bread or baked goods is helping with the bloating and weight. I just feel to deprived if I give up everything I love. Good luck to you! Sugar is not poison, small amounts are cool. Life is too short to live w/out chocolate I say! Unless of course, you are diabetic.

I rather stick with regular sugar. In regards to quitting it, you can't just quit sugar cold turkey and move to a synthesized alternative.

Perhaps make a conscious effort in reducing the sugar intake slowly? Maybe even set a journal for it?

I like pure via the best. To me, it tastes sweet but not fake with no aftertaste.

He said Monk Fruit is an great, natural sugar alternative. Monk Fruit is a small green melon from Asia and it has 3 calories in a serving but a 150 times the sweetness of sugar. It's been used in Asia for hundreds of years and has a low glycemic index.

I haven't tried it but it sounds intriguing.
