I ate meatballs that were over a week beyond the expiration day. Am I gonna die!

Another mental freeze. I bought meatballs two Mondays ago with the intention of cooking them over the holidays. Then things got so busy I forgot about them and bought some fresh meatballs last night. Yep. I cooked the wrong meatballs. Yep. I noticed they had browned and thought nothing about it.

Good news: They simmered in sauce for at least forty minutes. It's been twenty-four hours and I feel fine. I also didn't eat but two meatballs.

Discussions on True Blood Sundays have turned flaccid without your attentive eye.

But it sure does feel like they're wrapping it up. Everyone is pushing their arc like there's no tomorrow.

Major kill rate of caterpillars. Though, disintegrating caterpillars aren't as dramatic as bipedal human zombies.

But I did read a heartening article on the subject. It explained how nature had to conduct the massive slaughter because a high success ratio of caterpillars to butterfly would eventually decimate the food source.

the world tends to take care of such things. Its only when we humans try to alter the natural progession that things get messed. Save the butterflies and the world would run out of food. Now there is a good film script in all of this.

I did the same exact thing, today. It was meatballs in tomato sauce. It occurred to me after I ate them that they're kind of old.
