I almost thought Orson Scott Card fans would be orgasming

I saw Pacific Rim the other day and saw a trailer for Ender's Game, which I know is noted homophobe Orson Scott Card's most famous book. Pretty big cast for it, including Harrison Ford, Viola Davis, Ben Kingsley, etc. Then, I saw a trailer for Seventh Son, which I know is the title of of another of his books... however, I only read part of the book way back in 1987, so didn't remember anything about it. However, I thought it was another book by Card coming to the big screen.

However, it's the Seventh Son book written by Joseph Delaney, not Seventh Son by Card. The movie also with a pretty big cast with Jeff Bridges & Julianne Moore.

I don't inquire of someone's politics before I decide whether I like a song, or a movie or a book. And even I disagree with someone's politics, I can still enjoy the work on its merits. Does it entertain me? Does it tell a compelling story? Does it move me emotionally? If it does, than I don't care about the person's politics. If it doesn't, then it doesn't matter if I agree with the person's politics 100%.
