Finished the portable sound box for the boat yesterday and tested it today

It doubles as my liquor locker which I stocked today

And so I anchored out at the Varney Islands and got all the gear properly rigged and stowed. Got a guest outing planned Sunday and salt and limes will be involved.

That's my rented dock at the Back Bay in Wolfeboro NH. I got the dock cheap because the lake level is at near record high-to get to the main body you pass under a bridge with a normal 5 foot clearance and this year it's 4 foot 2 inches...I clear by less than 4 inches.

(6,154 posts)4 in clearance. Better hope the water doesn't rise any further That looks very peaceful, though I can't tell how many others are on the lake. I love lakes and rivers if they are peaceful and serene. Wonderful places to relax and have a few drinks, party by yourself or with a few close friends. I don't like them so much if they are crowded from one end to the other with water skiers and jet skis and loud partiers.
