Another day on the water

Finished the portable sound box for the boat yesterday and tested it today

It doubles as my liquor locker which I stocked today

And so I anchored out at the Varney Islands and got all the gear properly rigged and stowed. Got a guest outing planned Sunday and salt and limes will be involved.

Music, swimming and a good lunch. Another memory worth having...

22 miles long in the center of the state. About 70 miles by motorcycle around the perimeter.

That's my rented dock at the Back Bay in Wolfeboro NH. I got the dock cheap because the lake level is at near record high-to get to the main body you pass under a bridge with a normal 5 foot clearance and this year it's 4 foot 2 inches...I clear by less than 4 inches.

4 in clearance. Better hope the water doesn't rise any further That looks very peaceful, though I can't tell how many others are on the lake. I love lakes and rivers if they are peaceful and serene. Wonderful places to relax and have a few drinks, party by yourself or with a few close friends. I don't like them so much if they are crowded from one end to the other with water skiers and jet skis and loud partiers.
