Check out this strange-looking dog in the Bark Park yesterday!

[IMG][/IMG]

I almost fell off my bike as I passed this mini-horse romping with the German Shepherds at the dog park. He was galloping along, followed by excited canines who were very confused by their playmate--but had a good time anyway! No problem with inter-species fraternization.

Yeah, that's pretty weird. But why not? And the horse appears to be a female - most of the males have some rather obvious parts. They may be physically small in stature, but not in other respects.

I think he's not too pleased to have a galloping vegetarian in his midst. I kinda know how the horsie feels!

Y'know, after the German Shepherd tried to sniff the butt of the pony.

and there was a mini horse with it's head sticking out of the backseat, driver side window. On second glance, it appeared there was no backseat, so I was left to assume that the owner had removed it to make room for the horse.

Made me almost want to get a minivan just so I could drive around with a mini horse in the backseat.

I get a kick out of seeing a dog in a vehicle, let alone a pony. You are right, that little horse could fit in a van or even an SUV with the seats removed.

shepherd and some very confused Great Danes. They smell like the shepherd, but they're the size of the horses!
