Imagine if you will a treasure trove of vintage cars just sitting aroung for over 50 years.

It's the stuff that car guys yearn for. A 1958 Chevrolet Cameo pickup truck with one mile on the odometer. A 1964 Chevy Impala with four miles on the odometer. A Silver Anniversary issued 1978 Corvette with four miles on the odometer. Plus a large number of "project" cars, trade-ins that were not re-sold, but stored on the Lambrecht farm. In addition, there are car parts still in the bins, parts books still on the counters, advertising displays, etc. in the showroom.

In all there are over 400 cars going up for auction in September. Mr. Lambrecht didn't believe in selling used cars or leftover cars from previous model years so he just stored them in his building and in an open field outside of town.

Some examples:

1964 Chevy Corvair 14 miles
1960 Corvair Monza 1 mile
1976 Cheyenne pick-up 4 miles
1975 Chevy Caprice 7 miles
1965 Chevy Bel-Air station wagon 5 miles
1961 Apache pick-up 1 mile
1959 Chevy Bel-Air 1 mile
1959 Impala 2 miles
1964 Impala 5 miles
1963 Impala 327 11 miles

There's a couple of brand new Vegas in the collection along with cars from Ford, Lincoln, Plymouth, Dodge, Buick and Olsmobile.
