... I was taking kids' clothing out of the washer. It wasn't clear to me whose little kids' clothes they were, either my kids when they were little, or my younger siblings when they were little, but no matter. My wife was angry at me because she'd wanted to use the washing machine and I'd left wet clothes in it. So I was taking clothes out of the washer and throwing them into the dryer except the washer never emptied and the dryer never filled.
It was horrible, the faster I went, the faster clothes disappeared into the dryer and reappeared in the washer, all different clothes, and my wife was yelling down the stairs scolding me to hurry up!
It was like all the times I've done kid's laundry all randomly spliced together. I must have woken with a start because the dog at the foot of the bed raised her head and looked at me funny.
