When I put my lab coat on in the mornings, it always feel akin to strapping on a suit of armor.

Not to defend against my patients, of course.

Disease, I guess. And an occasional sense of futility when patients are non-compliant with their treatment plans, or continue to smoke, etc.

Another day ahead. Hope it brings good things...

You must see all kinds of ailments that are contagious. How do doctors avoid catching everything they treat?

I know from working in an elementary school.... I'm always using the disinfectant and sanitizer! If a kid sneezes, I call the custodian to disinfect the area! LOL I'm kind of germ-aphobic though. I don't get sick very often though! Must have built up a "resistance" over the years.
