5. I've been lazy about dinner lately,

I seem to run out of steam. But today, while the morning was cool, I made dessert for tonight... Chocolate ice cream!

And it's pretty easy to make, would be even easier if I had an electric mixer.

You just melt a 3.5 ounce bar of 70% cacao (or even darker) chocolate in a can of sweetened condensed milk, over low heat.
While that cools, whip a pint of whipping cream until fairly stiff peaks form.
Fold the coolish chocolate/condensed milk mixture gradually into the whipped cream then put into containers and put in the freezer for about six hours.
Made about 1 1/2 quarts.

You can mix other ingredients into the sweetened condensed milk instead if you want another flavor.

6. Ice cream fixes most things. Just got the pistachio almond outta the freezer.

7. Just now (10 PM Pacific Time) I made myself an awesome sundae w/ strawberries, walnuts, bananas

and chocolate syrup. The ice cream was plain old Dreyer's (local Bay Area company) vanilla.

8. I had some home-made brown sugar and cinnamon ice cream Wednesday afternoon.

It was delicious.
