I sent the Baby Back Ribs pic in TIFF format with the background stripped out to a local print shop that's going to turn it into a HUMONGOUS window sign for my client.
After the photo shoot my client took all of the food in the back and had reheated the Surf & Turf and Mongolian BBQ and set both plates down in front of my friend Trish and I and said "Enjoy." We DID. The corn bread is amazing. The flavor just EXPLODES. Everything was EXCELLENT. Trish loves Philly Cheese Steaks...we're going to go back and get her one soon.

(30,885 posts)That IS basically my sales pitch..."We post photos, we make people hungry, they come here and have a meal."

(2,562 posts)It all looks yummy... (except for the macaroni salad ...not because the pic is bad, but because I hate macaroni salad).
Wishing you continues good fortune with the food pics gig.

(30,885 posts)...I'm not a big macaroni salad fan either. They do a stir fry vegetable side that is carrots and broccoli and I don;t remember what else but I wish she'd used it on one of the plates today. It's really photogenic because she uses FRESH vegetables.

I kind of envy you in taking the food pics. I know it is work, but it also looks kind of fun. You have a nice talent for making the food look delish.
I have seen some pics for Mountain Rose Herbs, which are just gorgeous. It must be exciting when you get the balance of lighting, color, and composition just right.
