Just rewatched a Movie which I rarely do.

Forgot how much I liked the movie called "Cashback".

It is in Netflix at the moment. It is a British Romantic Drama Comedy.

I fell for the idea of the importance of each second and finding beauty in a frozen bit of time.
Not to mention the fact that it is about an artist illustrating.

Thing is, watching that movie makes me want to paint. I don't really do that too much either.

But it is tastefully done, like how one would compose sculptures and paintings.

After a painful breakup, Ben develops insomnia. To kill time, he starts working the late night shift at the local supermarket, where his artistic imagination runs wild. When art student Ben Willis dumps his girlfriend Suzy, he develops chronic insomnia after finding out how quickly she moved on. To pass the long hours of the night, he starts working the late night shift at the local supermarket. There he meets a colorful cast of characters, all of whom have their own 'art' in dealing with the boredom of an eight-hour-shift. Ben's art is that he imagines himself stopping time. This way, he can appreciate the artistic beauty of the frozen world and the people inside it - especially Sharon, the pretty and quiet checkout girl, who perhaps holds the answer to solving the problem of Ben's insomnia.

So broke, though. Can't even afford the canvas and the paints

Should sell my house and just go for it.

This may be my New Years Resolution for 2014.

Really been on my mind this past year ... time for action, I think.

I mean, paints are expensive as heck.
You're right.

Thing is, I will probably just steal a friend's "canvass". What she does is she takes old bed frames and stretch cloth on it, and it becomes her canvass.

Though no, I won't do that.
