Great song no matter what though. And pretty ballsy back then for a guy to call himself a "bitch" in such a defiant way.

Jose Martinez won one for a lot of people today: A federal judge awarded the California man $8,000 in damages from Disneyland, after he had to sit in the "goodbye room"of the "It's A Small World" ride for 30 minutes, while park officials repaired it.

The San Francisco Chronicle spoke to Martinez's lawyer David Geffen, a Santa Ana attorney. The paper reports:

"Disneyland employees evacuated other riders but had no way to help Martinez, who is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair, Geffen said.

"Martinez suffers from panic attacks and high blood pressure, both of which became an issue as he sat in the boat, the 'Small World' song playing over and over and over, Geffen said.

"'He was half in the cave of the ride and half out,' Geffen said. 'The music was blaring. They couldn't get it to go off.'"

I prefer the version Tim Mcgraw did, but it is a great song either way.

Try finding a new one on youtube, usually works for me.

Perfect for a tiny 14-year old (at the time). I loved "Your Song", "Levon" and "Mona Lisas and MadHatters" too. Bernie Taupin was an excellent lyricist.

Plus we paid good money for at least one of the shows, so we've actually seen him live something like four times in the last year at Caesar's.

Me? It's fucking "Daniel." I used to love the song, but it's been stuck in my head off and on for months. I'm beginning to think it's some kind of CIA plot.
