We (me and my ex) had two cats at one time,
put them in the tub to wash them - one fought like hell to get out,
the other one just wandered happily around, didn't even want to get out!
I suspect if I was a cat, I'd be the one wandering around in the tub.
I'm a bit of an oddball,

but occasionally I'll catch her in the bathtub licking up the pooled up water with drops from the faucet falling on her head. So...
I think my cat would eventually figure out that if she dipped her paw in the pool, she'd make waves that would push the food bowl closer to the edge.
